Restaurant Brouwerij de Molen

It's time to introduce our crew. Our crew consists of our own people and employees from the Philadelphia foundation. Those employees are active in different parts of our production line. Every day again we look forward to this nice cooperation and with results. We are one of the best breweries in the world after all.

	My name is Menno As brewmaster I'm responsible for creating new beers and developing the brewing process. Which malts and hops to use for example. Only when I'm completely satisfied with the result we will start brewing the beers. I'm still looking for the ultimate de Molen beer so I couldn't mention which is my favorite. There are lots of beers from other brewers I like as well but I can't mention a favorite as well. The last one that I could appreciate a lot was Thornbridge Jaipur. When I'm not working I'm also occupied with beer but I like to bike and walk as well.
	My name is Bea I do a part of the administration and correspondence. Most fun is hosting the Dutch and international guest brewers that visit us. It's very hard to pick my favorite Molenbeer but I guess that would be Hel en Verdoemenis Bordeaux Aged and Op en Top. Next to the Molenbeers I really love Närke Stormaktsporter and Haandbryggeriet Norwegian Wood. When I'm not at work I love to read, cook, watch movies, hike and sport.
	My name is Aalt I mentor the Philadelphia employees on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I prefer amber ales. My favorite de Molen beer is Stoom bier but I also like a Palm Speciale very much. Less bitter but easy going. When I'm not working I like to sing, play guitar or do some home improvement or garden work.
	My name is Bob Brewing starts with cracking the malts with a mill. This is the best work at the brewery in my opinion. Our Molenbier (Mill beer) is funny enough my favorite beer. But I also like Rosé beers a lot. When I'm not at work I am always busy. Especially with horse back riding and fitness.
	My name is Jebu When the cracking of the malts is finished I can start brewing. There is much more work that I do at the brewery but brewing is the most fun. I cannot name a favorite from the brewery as they are all great. But when I have to name just one it would be Molenbier. They best beer I can think of, not brewed by de Molen, is Närke Kaggen Stormaktsporter. At home I love to play computer games and doing nothing at all is one of my hobbies as well.
	My name is Peter Production manager in our warehouse. This means I coordinate the work from fermentation until the beers leave the warehouse. For a while we're brewing Op & Top (translates as the best of the best) and that beer deserves it's name completely. Flavourful yet easy going with only 4.5% ABV. My favorite non-de Molen beer changes all the time, but at the moment Rough Snuff by Midtfyns is number 1. Very special beer. Brewed with snuff and sweaweed. I loving rocking with my band. Something I can completely loose myself in. I play the guitar. Making music is very relaxing.
	My name is Sophia I'm the Philadelphia mentor on Tuesdays and I love my job. In spring I'm always awaiting the new Jong & Onbedorven because it's my favorite beer. In summer I love to drink a Rosé beer. Great for your thirst. In my spare time you can always find me on the water.
	My name is Carl Fermentation takes place in our warehouse where you can find me as well. I take care of quality control, bottling and kegging. I love a de Molen beers but Jong & Onbedorven and Vuur & Vlam are the best in my opinion. I'm still trying more and more beers from other brewers and I can't decide which is best. At the moment I'm most impressed by Alvinne Podge Bourgogne Barrel Oak Aged. When not working I tend to do nothing or play with my game console.
	My name is Mark I love to help Carl and Sjoerd in the warehouse between the bottles and the barrels. When I'm not working at the brewery I'm helping my dad with his own company. My favorite beers is de Molen Engels but at home I drink Grolsch now and then.
	My name is Sjarel I love working at the bottling line. I'm not a big fan of strong beers, that's why I love De Molen Pilz or another cold pilsener. In the weekend I love going out in the town or play computer games.
	My name is Jeroen Bottling is a lot of work and hard work as well but I love it. Especially when we bottle Winterbock as it's my favorite beer. Besides Winterbock I also like to drink Wheat ale. When at home I watch TV or play my drum set.
	My name is Dylan Bottling and labelling is what we do all together and that's really the best. My favourite beer of de Molen is Blood, Sweat and Tears. I love German beers such as Mönchhof and Urbanus. In my free time I like to stay with my father and play with Nintendo or Wii. Except for de Molen, I also work two days at Phila del Art.
	My name is Kees Labelling is the work I love doing most at the brewery. I only drink beer without alcohol but de Molen hasn't made that yet. But I love a good cup of coffee and that's what they do make. When not at work I go hiking or play billiards. Both are very relaxing.
	My name is Edwin When bottling is finished we need to label the bottles and I like doing that. It's a lot of work and that's probably why I like Bloed Zweet en Tranen (Blood, Sweat & Tears) so much. But I also like to drink a cold pilsener now an then. But not when I go ballroom dancing and I love that above everything else.
	My name is Martijn Some of the beer bottles need to be waxed. This means you carefully put them upside down in hot wax and slowly turn them. It gives the bottle a very classy appearance. I love doing that. Hel & Verdoemenis is waxed for example and I love that beer. But I also like Rosé beers a lot. At home I play games on my computer or I go to drama school.
	My name is Rijk I do a lot of things at the brewery and I love all of it. Even the warehouse where the bottles and boxes are stored. Vuur & Vlam is a very special beer and I love it most. At home I mostly watch TV. Sometimes with a nice cold pilsener.
	My name is Sjoerd Brewing is what I like doing most at the brewery. But there's more to be done like delivering the orders. At de Molen it's like floating between heaven and earth and that's probably why Hemel & Aarde is my favorite beer. It's hard to name a favorte from another brewery but Närke Stormaktsporter could certainly be it. What I love doing most when I'm not working? Drinking beer!
	My name is Michael De Molen has a restaurant as well and I love working there most. Of course we do not brew beer in the kitchen but we use de Molen beers in most of our dishes. Lusten & Lasten is the best beer we make in my opinion. Sometimes I drink a pilsener when I'm thirsty but not on the athletics track where I'm a lot.
	My name is Dick Every Friday I mentor the guys from Philadelphia. I love a good wheat ale in general but especially Groene Hart from de Molen. There's only one thing on my mind when I'm not at work: sleeping!
	My name is John There are many things that I do at de Molen but seldom something that looks like brewing. But I maintain this website for example and co-organize the yearly beerfestival. The Tsarina Esra Reserva is the best de Molen beer. Maybe even the best beer in the world. Of course there are many other, not de Molen, beers I love. The most interesting and overwhelming of them was probably a 5 year old Girardin Oude Lambik that I tried a couple of years ago. Besides drinking beer I love my kids, my girlfriend, going out for dinner and sports.
